Cotton Development Board (CDB) is a government organization responsible for cotton production and research in Bangladesh. It is established in 1972 under the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to boost up cotton production in the country. The beneficiaries of the web site are cotton farmers, farmer association, private ginners, Extension and Research officer/staff of CDB, Ministry of Agriculture and concerned Ministries, Research Organization, Bangladesh Textile Mills Association, Bangladesh Textile Mills Corporation, different Universities, students, print and electronic media, International Cotton Organizations and other related groups and Organization/ Institutions etc. This web site will help to disseminate the cotton production technologies and information inside and outside of the country.We hope that the website will create a close relationship between the stakeholders and CDB. As a result cotton production will be icreased in the country.
